We have extensive experience with textile based returnable packaging. RPR maintains unique strategic partnerships with Integrated Fabric Resource and ITB Packaging, two of the world’s most innovative manufacturers of textile based returnable packaging. We call on them when our customers need to move delicate components through the supply chain or require a highly engineered, “no tooling” bulk container textile system that ships and stores flat, and is easily installed in containers.

Integrated Fabric Resource — a leader in textile-based returnable packaging

Integrated Fabric Resource’s technology uses a “hanging” position to move products through the supply chain, which is ideal for shipping components with delicate or easily scratched surface finishes (we guarantee that our returnable packaging will protect these parts with Class A surfaces). Our textile based returnable packaging works well with steel rack systems or other handling units, such as plastic containers, boxes or crates, and protective dunnage (combining various packaging technologies from selected manufacturers means we can custom engineer a system for your specific requirements).

RPR provides local plant support for IFR textile based packaging systems. This includes local on-site engineering, on-site design and prototyping, and on-site manufacturing and replacement of damaged textiles in racks and containers.

ITB Packaging — innovative manufacturing of rectangular cell dividers

ITB Packaging offers highly engineered returnable packaging systems that require no tooling and can be easily managed throughout your supply chain. These soft, flexible rectangular cell dividers are machined—not sewn or die-cut—to ship and store flat, and install quickly.

ITB’s returnable packaging systems are among the industry’s most cost-competitive, because of the company’s proven Lean manufacturing, and they also reduce your returnable packaging costs because they require less labor. These rectangular cell dividers are available in three types of material:

• Double-sided brushed polyester with a polyester center to combine structural integrity with maximum surface protection.
• 5-oz. spunbound polypropylene combining good surface protection, medium durability and an attractive price point
• Spunbound PET non-woven for baseline pricing

RPR provides local plant support for ITB Packaging rectangular cell dividers used in bulk containers. The company offers fast quotes and product samples, and works with RPR on returnable packaging prototypes.
